YouTuber and filmmaker Riyad Khalaf has announced his first book.
Yay! You are gay! And now ? : The Guide to the Life of a Gay Boy is exactly that – a must-read guide for young gay teens that covers everything from coming out to homophobes and finding out who you are.
The book, which Riyadh says has been in the works for a year and a half, is released on May 2, 2019.
“This book is for the thousands of lost, scared and underserved gay teens who have messaged me over the years asking for help,” he explained.
“It’s also for anyone who comes into contact with this queer teenager who wants to learn how to feed, protect and raise them, from teachers and classmates to co-workers and even struggling parents. to accept.”
The book features contributions from LGBTQ icons including actor Stephen Fry, Love star Simon Clark Moore, drag superstar Courtney Act, as well as a section from his own parents on accepting your queer child.
